GROWING DEMAND FOR PRODUCT DURING COVID-19 MEANS BRANDS NEED TO MOVE FAST.

Amid the growing home baking trend brought about during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lakanto had the opportunity to grow their product base quickly during a period of high demand to meet increasing requirements from Australian consumers.

Producing natural, sugar free baking alternatives for the health food market, the response to market demand needed to be swift. The Lakanto team was required to plan, produce and package product quickly and efficiently, while ensuring all elements were aligned with the brands image and high-quality standards.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic Lakanto was producing packaging off-shore, however purchasing Australian made from Read Labels and Packaging enabled Lakanto to have the fast response times that off-shore printing could no longer guarantee during the uncertain times of COVID-19, as well as the confidence that they would receive 100% premium packaging in the required time frame.

Using our state-of-the-art production management system and increased manufacturing shifts, for an entire week, our manufacturing facility was all purple and turquoise as the large volume, two SKU pouch project ran through the print and production process.

From receiving final artwork, to dispatch the entire project was completed within one week.
